Rochelle Hardy-Blunt

Rochelle Hardy-Blunt, Director, is a member of BlackRock’s Global Investment Operations Group. As part of the Transaction Management Leadership team, Mrs. Blunt is Global Head of Trade Operations responsible for trade confirmation and settlement of all Equity, Fixed Income and F/X products.

Ms. Hardy-Blunt has been with BlackRock since 2003. Prior to moving to her current role, she was responsible US Securities Lending Operations, Billing and Accounting responsible for maintaining key functions for ensuring consistent delivery of quality operational services for the Securities Lending product globally and managing key relationships with counterparties, custodians, vendors and other service providers. Prior to that, Mrs. Hardy-Blunt was a member of Investment Operations Derivative Operations team responsible for US Exchange Traded Derivatives & US Clearing, exchange traded futures and options and cleared swap transactions. Prior to joining Derivative Operations she was a member of Investment Operations Market Initiatives team responsible for coordinating operational initiatives associated with meeting market structure changes e.g. Dodd Frank / EMIR commitments for Over the Counter (OTC) derivatives, T+2 settlements, new account structures impacting operating models – working alongside the market structure, portfolio management, technology, and legal teams. Prior to joining Market Initiatives Mrs. Hardy-Blunt managed BlackRock’s Asset Reconciliation team in the Americas and Global OTC reconciliation team where she was responsible for ensuring portfolio reconciliations, dispute resolution and escalation protocols were in place to comply with Dodd Frank/EMIR protocol(s).
