Ryan Burwell

Ryan Burwell is Director of Technology Strategy at Baird and leads the PWM Technology Best Practices team. The Technology Best Practices team is responsible for key wealth platforms including; Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ThomsonONE, Baird Wealth Report, Advisory Technology, Wealth Desktop Integrations, Mobile Capabilities, as well as PWM’s virtual and digital presence Baird Online and 360 Wealth.

Mr. Burwell leads the Technology Solutions Team, which is focused on coaching and mentoring advisors on the Best Practices of applying technology in their unique business models. These services range from on-on-one, small group, and large-scale customized training; with on-demand support for individual Baird advisors who are encouraged to proactively seek assistance.

Additionally, Mr. Burwell directs a team of Technology Product Managers who are responsible for platform innovation and future roadmap, execution strategy, adoption, and ongoing support of the wealth and digital platforms.

Prior to his role overseeing PWM Best Practices, Mr. Burwell was Baird’s implementation lead for several Baird platform rollouts. His background is in the field of business technology, including strategy and planning, program and project management, business analysis and architecture, and general technology consulting.

Prior to joining Baird Mr. Burwell consulted both professionally and independently across various industries and firms including Compuware, Target Corporation, Boston Scientific and Google. He earned his MBA from Marquette University and is currently located in Wauwatosa with his wife Cindy, and their two wonderful daughters Aubriana and Gwenyth.
