Sara Donovan

Head of Sanctions Compliance, Morgan Stanley

Sara Donovan is an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley and serves as the Head of Sanctions Compliance globally. Sara joined Morgan Stanley in 2015 and has held senior roles across Global Financial Crimes Sanctions and Screening programs, overseeing sanctions- related investigations and the Firm’s sanctions screening program. In January 2023, Sara took on global oversight as the Head of the Global Financial Crimes Sanctions Compliance program. Sara earned a juris doctor degree from New York Law School, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She resides in New York City.
