Sara N. Raisner

Sara Raisner is a partner in Shearman & Sterling’s Litigation practice. As a former director at FINRA’s Enforcement Department, Sara’s practice focuses on regulatory examination and enforcement matters, internal investigations, and securities-related disputes. She regularly represents financial institutions, hedge funds, and corporate clients before the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, New York Office of Attorney General, DOJ and other regulators. A fluent Spanish-speaker, Sara has significant experience advising clients in Mexico, Brazil and Chile and is a member of the Firm’s Lat Am group.

Sara sits on the Firm’s Recruiting Committee and Women Partners Committee. She has been recognized by Benchmark Litigation in their “40 & Under List,” which features the most notable up-and-coming litigation attorneys in the U.S., every year since becoming a partner.
