Scott Sheridan

Scott Sheridan is the Chief Executive Officer of the revolutionary new brokerage firm tastyworks. With over 30 years of experience in the financial sector, Mr. Sheridan oversees operations for tastyworks. The tastyworks platform uses powerful yet easy-to-use technology with live, strategic content and a reduced fee structure to transform individual investors from passive to active market participants, regardless of experience level.

Prior to tastyworks, Mr. Sheridan spent 13 years as co-founder of thinkorswim, a trading technology platform offering industry-leading trading tools, streaming real-time data, and powerful analytics, all in a fully integrated platform — which sold to TD Ameritrade for $750M in 2009. Mr. Sheridan got his start as a market maker at the CBOE for nearly 20 years.

Additionally, Mr. Sheridan has served on the Foundation Board for the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago since 2012.
