Tim Ney
Tim Ney is the Edward Jones principal responsible for the Operations division. Tim began his Edward Jones career in 1992 as a member of Internal Audit. Over the next eight years, he gained leadership experience in a variety of areas, including Branch Administration, branch transition and lease administration, and financial reporting in Accounting. In 1998, Tim moved to Mutual Fund Operations to lead the implementation of shareholder accounting.
Tim was named a principal with the firm in 2000. The following year, he relocated to Arizona to oversee the relocation of Mutual Fund Operations to the firm’s Tempe Campus in Phoenix. He returned to St. Louis in 2008 to lead the Security, Trades, Advisory and Retirement Services areas of Operations. He assumed leader-ship of the Operations division in 2017.
Tim is a member of the SIFMA Operations and Technology Steering Committee (OTSC) and the Depository Trust Clearing Corporation’s Operations Advisory Committee (OAC).
Before joining Edward Jones, he was a certified public accountant for Ernst & Young in the entrepreneurial services area.
Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington University and an executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
