Tom Zschach

Tom is a seasoned technology executive with a distinguished career in the financial services industry. As Chief Innovation Officer at SWIFT, he drives innovation and collaborates with the SWIFT community and partners to create growth opportunities and future-proof the company. Since joining SWIFT in January 2020, Tom has developed strategies that have reinforced SWIFT’s industry leadership.

Previously, he served as CIO at CLS Group, where he shaped the organization’s technology vision and strategic direction as part of the Executive Management Committee. Before CLS, Tom was CIO at LCH.Clearnet, playing a pivotal role in advancing the company’s technology strategy and strengthening its position in the clearing and settlement industry. With over 20 years in investment banking, including roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Barclays Capital, Tom has a wealth of experience leading technology initiatives.

He holds a degree in Computer Science and Finance from California State University and an Executive MBA from TRIUM, combining his academic background with deep industry expertise to become a highly respected leader in technology.
