Mike Kopischkie

Mike Kopischkie is the Director of Accounting & Regulation for Robert W. Baird & Co. in Milwaukee, WI.  In his 20 years with Baird, Mike provided financial analysis and support for several of Baird’s businesses before moving into his current role which is responsible for the preparation of the firm’s financial statements and financial and operational filings with regulatory agencies.  Further, Mike oversees the firm’s external financial and regulatory audits, examinations and reviews.  Mike also manages the firm’s accounting policies including evaluation and implementation of relevant rule changes.  Mike provides advisory services to Baird’s businesses on accounting and regulatory matters surrounding acquisitions, new initiatives, products, and significant transactions.  Mike is a CPA and is Series 7 and 27 licensed.  Mike is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Accounting.  Prior to joining Baird Mike began his career in public accounting and worked in the Milwaukee office of Arthur Andersen.
