SIFMA submits recommendations in response to a bipartisan request for legislative proposals that facilitate capital formation, economic growth, and job creation. SIFMA members are intimately engaged in both public and private capital markets and interact with business leaders and potential issuers daily. It is from this unique vantage point that we offer these suggestions to promote capital formation in a manner that encourages business investment and facilitates job creation while upholding investor protections.
