SIFMA, the American Bankers Association (ABA), the ABA Securities Association, the Futures Industry Association (FIA), the Institute of International Bankers (IIB), and the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA) provide comments to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) requesting of CFTC’s Final Exemptive Order regarding compliance with certain swap regulations, RIN 3038-AD85. The groups are asking the CFTC for a six-month extension of the Exemptive Order, which is set to expire on July 12, 2013.
